Judy Holcomb has over 25+ years of hospitality business leadership experience, as well as 10+ years in higher education administration, and 16+ years of higher education teaching. Her hospitality experience includes the areas of operations and accounting, where she's held several leadership roles in various segments of the hospitality industry. As an ACC-certified coach through the International Coach Federation, Judy is passionate about helping ambitious professionals excel in their careers. Judy holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Central Florida and is a tenured professor at Saint Leo University teaching hospitality management.

I coach from the heart and helping people has been my passion for many years. I use a guided process, through active listening and the power of questions to assist the client in determining their own outcomes.

Who is your ideal client and why?

My ideal clients are high-performing managers who are transitioning to a new role in their current company or who have changed companies. Managers or employees who want to grow within their current role to achieve a promotion.

How do you measure success with a client?

In accordance with the ICF coaching competencies, using active inquiry, I determine what the client’s goal is for the session and allow them to define what success looks like. I check in frequently during our sessions to ensure that we stay focused on the area that the client wants to work on.

What is your coaching superpower?

My coaching superpowers are trust and empathy; I respect my client’s journey. I make them away that this is your journey, and I am the facilitator to help them reach their fullest potential.
