15+ years of consulting and coaching individuals of all professional levels and backgrounds. Lanesha provides guidance to those who feel unfulfilled, unmotivated or unhappy with any aspect of their lives. Get out of a rut, achieve your goals, and create a life you love.
To help clients move forward with their lives, I help them take a close look at the major areas of their lives: career, health and wellness, relationships, friends and family, etc. - and work with them to develop SMART goals for each area they want to improve. From there, we establish a plan that incorporates their SMART goals with action steps to achieve the goals. While working toward their goals, we also address any barriers or roadblocks that may limit their progress, such as procrastination, lack of confidence, self-doubt, fear of failing, etc. so they can remove those barriers and confidently go after their goals and dreams. I become a large part of their support system, checking in on them between sessions to ensure they remain motivated to work toward their goals, and check on their progress. I continue working with clients until they’ve accomplished what they wanted, or until they feel comfortable with the strategies I provide to continue working on their goals on their own.
My coaching style is much like a partnership, where I work hand-in-hand with my clients to reach their goals. I provide my clients with clear direction and strategies for accomplishing what they set out to achieve while serving as their accountability partner, motivator, and biggest cheerleader. I encourage feedback, reflection, and conversation from clients to ensure our approach to reaching their objectives is something they are comfortable with and inspired by and enables them to get their desired results.
When I first start working with a client, we identify and establish goals and develop a plan to achieve them. Often, there are milestones to complete as we work toward the ultimate goal. I believe in celebrating all the wins with my clients. Whenever a milestone is reached, I call that progress, and I’m constantly looking for improvement. When one or more of our goals are gone, that’s a success. For instance, if someone comes to me wanting to find their Life Purpose, that's progress when they get more clarity and can identify their passions. Once they can go even further and pinpoint one of their passions as their Purpose, that’s a success. Suppose a client wants to gain more confidence, transition into a new career, or need an extra push to achieve their goals. In that case, I will celebrate each stage where we can identify a positive change, primarily when they accomplish one or more of the things they set out to achieve.
I have the keen ability to help clients transition their mindsets to more positive ones, which allows them to create more happiness, believe in themselves, and position themselves in the best frame of mind to achieve their goals. I’d also say I’m very good at helping clients remove any barriers preventing them from reaching their full potential. I have proven strategies that allow clients to acknowledge the things that are limiting them, and I empower them to take the necessary steps to overcome any challenges that get in their way.
