Even the best ideas require impactful presentation in order to drive action. This workshop combines fundamental frameworks for effective persuasion with interactive exercises to allow participants to hone their pitching skills.
With over 25 years of experience teaching, coaching, and training communications at organizations like Stanford, Columbia, Facebook, and Google, JD is uniquely qualified to help leaders develop the art of pitching and persuasion.
Participants will be introduced to the AIM (Audience, Intent, Message) framework and learn the critical process of structuring a pitch. The focus will then shift to understanding the basics of the Lipp Model of Pitching, a recognized and effective model for delivering persuasive pitches.
Participants will get the chance to put the model into practice and receive valuable feedback from JD and their peers. This hands-on experience is designed to foster improvement and build confidence in each participant's pitching skills.
The workshop concludes with participants developing a personal plan to increase their mastery in pitching, ensuring that the skills learned are honed and continue to develop even after the workshop.
