When she worked in HR, her favorite aspect of it was recruiting and talent acquisition so she loves to “reverse engineer” that process by helping clients understand the labor market and what it takes to stand out amongst the competition.

I would describe myself as customized and practical…I am aware of helping clients benefit from coaching while being mindful of the time and expenses involved. My goal is to help clients get further and faster than they may have gotten on their own, focusing on their specific priorities and goals. I like to ask many questions and follow-up sessions with suggested resources and a reminder of the next steps we discussed that they may consider taking. I also strive to be a safe, judgment-free space where they can start to honestly address their needs and values while ensuring to keep those in mind when it comes to their professional branding updates and action plans.
I work with clients 2+ years out of high school who are familiar with some of the current labor market opportunities for their skillset. They will have attempted some of this independently and will likely have run into some roadblocks. My ideal client is at the point that they are ready to dig deep and start getting really into the details of what they can work on to reach their goals. While my coaching can be very strategic and high level, the magic happens when we get into the weeds, so clients whom this works well for are an excellent fit for this approach.
Success happens when a client reaches their goal - landing an interview, getting a job offer, or finally figuring out what they want to do to develop an action plan to go for it. It is sometimes a big success, but sometimes it’s a small one, such as having a conversation with their supervisor about their desired pay increase.
