Bio

As a Leadership and Career Coach with over two decades of supporting businesses to expand their creative visions, I partner with leaders to build emotionally intelligent teams, foster innovation, and develop unconventional growth plans.

In my role as a Personal Development Coach, I support rudderless individuals to move from drifting and onto their true course by unlocking their natural talents and empowering them to be the partners, parents, co-workers, and friends they were created to be.

I work as a strategic partner and am known for my ability to listen deeply and make others feel comfortable and empowered while creating new paths to the desired outcome. I strive to encourage leaders to have courageous conversations and display vulnerability in positive ways that reveal hidden solutions and promote untapped creativity.

Through the pandemic and two natural disasters, I led teams that would have otherwise crumbled from burnout and fatigue. Those experiences inspired me to earn my International Coaching Federation (ICF) coaching credentials and share my knowledge with leaders to support and guide their own teams through challenging times.

Notable Client Achievements

  • During the pandemic, I supported a client to not only land her dream job but to do so while completely redefining herself and transitioning into a brand new professional field.

  • Worked with a middle-aged man to reestablish connections with his family, which led to a reunion and family vacation.

  • Partnered with a client to convert her dreams of a healthier lifestyle into a daily, sustainable way of living.

  • Coached, mentored, and consulted a young business owner to successfully manage hiring, budgeting, and growth as his company is transitioning from a soloprenuer to a fully-fledged organization with various teams.

FAQ
Describe your coaching style.

When working with clients who are focused on personal growth, I create a safe container for them to explore what could be possible if they had everything exactly the way they wanted it to be. I shine a light into areas they may not have yet thought to look at and then provide tools to help them start turning those dreams into reality.

Leadership coaching is built around identifying the skills that the client needs to strengthen in order to achieve success in their current role or next role and can be a combination of self-discovery and coach-directed growth.

In either case, I am an encourager, cheerleader, and unbiased voice of truth and reason who always shows up in a caring, loving manner with the client’s success as my number one priority.

Describe your experience working with experienced managers

I’ve worked side-by-side on the job with experienced managers as well as had official coaching engagements to level up their performance.

Describe your experience working with individual contributors or others, not in people manager roles.

I’ve led teams of 5 - 25 individuals. As I grew in my knowledge and experience, I transitioned from traditional management methods to a coaching approach. My observation is that approach strengthened the team and its members as they were able to become better problem solvers and more independent. When working with clients, I help them find alignment in their personal goals with the company's goals.

Describe your experience working with new managers.

I have promoted team members into management positions and then created training programs for them, and I have coached new managers who were my clients. New managers are fun to work with because they are eager to learn. We see results quickly.
