Elizabeth Planet is an experienced advisor to nonprofits and a seasoned attorney and high-impact nonprofit leader with over 15 years of experience in senior management roles in mission-driven organizations. Elizabeth has a proven track record of leading organizational growth and development and is widely recognized for her expertise in developing and implementing growth strategies for mission-driven organizations.
As Executive Director of the Child Mind Institute, she led the growth of the organization from a single-site, 70-person, $12 million operation to a national, multi-site, 250-person, $55 million leader in clinical services, brain research, and public education. Previously, Elizabeth held senior leadership positions at the American Jewish Committee and the Center on Addiction.
Elizabeth began her career as an attorney in the corporate transactions practice at the New York law firm Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, where she advised clients on public and private mergers and acquisitions. She earned her JD from Columbia University and her BA from Yale University, and is admitted to practice law in New York.
