Bio

After coming to the US from Ukraine in 1995, Ella settled in San Francisco and started her 20+ year career with technology companies in Silicon Valley. This journey took her from tiny startups to a large international corporation (SAP), and from technical roles in development to program and partner management, customer success, and business development. Along the way, she obtained her MBA degree at Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. She also discovered coaching while working at SAP where she was selected to become an internal coach, conflict counselor, and facilitator.

Ella encourages her clients to view their professional and personal life as an ever-evolving path. She helps them develop a strategy to find fulfillment at any stage of their life and career; navigate transitions with grace and humor, and discover happiness in the present moment

FAQ
Describe the process you use to help clients move forward with their lives.

The goal is happiness. I guide my clients in identifying their values. Once this is accomplished, we look for areas in their current circumstances that do not align with their values. With new clarity of what needs to change, we set a plan and timeframe that becomes the coaching process's foundation. This process inspires clients about possibilities, and the system of accountability supports them in achieving their goals.

Describe your coaching style.

I am empathetic, supportive, caring, and firm. I am an attentive listener. I create a comfortable and safe space for my clients encouraging them to think freely.

Describe your experience working with experienced managers

I have worked with experienced managers who often become bogged down with constant demands and busy schedules at this career stage. Common issues we addressed were defining career goals, handling business challenges, interacting with difficult employees, building relationships within the organization, and developing an authentic leadership style. All this while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Describe your experience working with individual contributors or others, not in people manager roles.

I have worked with many individual contributors at various organizational levels. Topics included building alliances, expanding influence and increasing visibility, presentation and communication skills, and defining career direction and next steps.
