• As CTO of Tranzito, created the hardware and software foundation for the City of Los Angeles's $30MM next-generation bus stop program, incorporating digital and e-paper screens, intelligent remote power and lighting control, and a custom geospatial management and maintenance platform.
• At Change.org, part of a three-person team that rebuilt the email infrastructure from scratch, saving approximately $4MM annually. Also created a system integrated with Rails migrations to allow zero-downtime migration of large MySQL tables, drastically increasing stability, uptime, and flexibility.
• Implemented intelligent WebRTC routing and assignment systems for Sqwiggle and Speak to dynamically assign and negotiate audio/video connections to optimal geographically dispersed servers, drastically decreasing call latency for most users.
• At Entelo, led a significant refactoring of the developer platform, reducing AWS spending by $500K/year over two months, a 50% cost savings.
