Scenario Agent: build roleplays by describing them
The Scenario Agent is live in Scenario Studio. Sales managers and enablement teams building roleplays can now describe the conversation they want in a few sentences of chat, and the agent builds the whole thing: the character, the situation, the conversation guidelines, and the evaluation criteria. Run it immediately to see how it plays, then refine anything by telling the agent what to change.
Building a scenario used to mean filling out fields. Give the character a name. Write the backstory. Define the personality. Set the opening line. Create evaluation criteria one by one, with Good, Fair, and Poor descriptions for each. It worked, but it asked you to make a dozen decisions before you could try a single conversation.
Now you describe the call. Say you want a skeptical CFO who pushes back on pricing during a discovery conversation. You type that. The agent builds the character, gives them a backstory that explains their skepticism, writes conversation guidelines that control how they respond as the rep digs deeper, and generates evaluation criteria that measure whether the rep handled the pricing objection. You click Try Now, talk through it, and if the character is too aggressive or not aggressive enough, you tell the agent to dial it up or down.
The character is still open-ended. Whatever persona, mood, or behavior you describe, the agent builds it. For example, the agent can build a rushed buyer who keeps checking their watch, a supportive champion who wants to help but needs to sell it internally, or a hostile executive who thinks your product is a waste of budget. The agent translates your description into the underlying scenario structure.
And the scorecard is still custom per scenario. The agent generates evaluation criteria based on what you described, but you own them. Add criteria, remove them, rewrite the Good and Poor descriptions. The grading measures what your company decided matters for that specific practice, same as always.
We built this because the people who know what reps need to practice are usually not the people who want to spend 20 minutes in a form builder. Sales managers, enablement leads, even reps themselves know exactly what conversation they want to rehearse. The difficult part was translating that knowledge into a structured scenario. The Scenario Agent removes that step. You describe the call. The agent handles the structure.
