Ami does not have an MD but has the skills of a doctor in an emergency room, constantly fixing things, triaging, and diagnosing to proactively mitigate fatality. Her dual focus on the company's high-level strategy front-and-center while understanding the details of day-to-day execution is her unique ability for success. Ami has an MBA and certifications in ASQ Master Black Belt, ASQ Quality Management, and Agile Scrum Master, combined with over 30 years of Operations/Supply Chain experience.

As Vice President of Transformation Strategy at Smith+Nephew, Ami drives enterprise-wide strategic programs which align with corporate vision for future investments, and optimize manufacturing and supply chain operational excellence to maximize revenue growth. She was Program Manager for the new Malaysia Manufacturing site startup, a $100M investment delivered on time and on budget.

During her 13-year tenure at GE Healthcare, Ami was responsible for financial and operational execution of $550M Healthcare Services Business across a 15-state area with 800+ field service engineers. She led a team of Black Belts and delivered over $10M in variable cost productivity reduction over 2 years. With her high-quality mindset, Ami participated in 2 successful FDA inspections, resulting in zero findings.

Ami held progressive leadership roles in operations, quality, and product management at Abbott Dignostics, focused on retaining strong customer relationships, solving difficult technical product issues, and leading business performance improvement projects.

Ami raised 3 grown children, Dilan 25, Shai 21, and Mira 20 in her hometown of Palatine - each attended the same schools as her. When she is not a mother and executive, Ami enjoys traveling, hiking mountains, and thrilling adventures - skydiving, parasailing, go-kart racing, white water rafting, and snorkeling. But her favorite hobby is spending time with friends and family. Her life motto: Work hard, play harder!
